He was educated in Scotland and Leicester, including a stint in Florence studying art and the classical guitar. Together with his sister, the popular singing duo Delia and Dario performed in the finest venues in Europe, working with many of the great names in show business. Buddy Greco, Olivia Newton-John, Dave Allen, Bruce Forsyth, Tommy Copper, and Engelbert Humperdinck (in the studios) just to mention a few. Dario along with Roberto Danova, co-wrote the music to Nostradamus 1999 which was sold in 64 Countries and Dario wrote both the lyrics and music for his musical "Nostradamus." As a painter, Dario is a professional artist of the surrealist school his work being described by Paul Chave As a combination of Edvard Munch, Salvador Dali and William Blake and is known as a committed anti- war artist. He has written articles and short stories, has just completed a military book and is close to completing his first romantic novel. Dario has written the Libretto and co-written the Music and Lyrics for the powerful Musical drama "Lady X The Power of Destiny". The work, said to be based on the life of the late Diana Princess of Wales, has received favourable comments from prominent persons in the British media and is now capturing the attention of the media in several countries including Italy and Spain. His new song "Marbella, Marbella", was arranged and produced by the respected musician and arranger David Mairs. Sung by Alan de Ward and Samantha Mairs the song has begun to astonish the media in Spain and beyond
